Account deletion

Delete your Math on Cue account and data.

Math on Cue, by Aithnography. A parent can delete the whole family account, including every child’s profile and practice history, at any time, from the app or the website. This page explains how, what is deleted, and the few records we have to keep.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in as the parent.

    Open the Math on Cue app, or go to app.mathoncue.com in a browser, and sign in with the code we email you.

  2. Open the parent space.

    Choose For parents (Parents on a phone). Unlock it with your parent PIN, or with a fresh code sent to your email.

  3. Go to Privacy & child data.

    If you’d like a copy first, choose Download family data.

  4. Choose Delete family account.

    We email a 6-digit code to confirm it’s you. Enter it and choose Delete everything.

Deletion happens straight away and can’t be undone. You’ll see a receipt on screen and get a copy by email.

What is deleted

  • Your parent account: email address, time zone, parent PIN and sign-in records.
  • Every child profile: nickname, picture and fact choices.
  • All practice history and review schedules.
  • Consent records and family settings.
  • Every device is signed out.
  • A plan bought on the website is canceled immediately, so no further charge happens.

We never receive voice recordings, so there are none to delete.

What is kept, and why

  • Billing ledger entries (amount, date, plan; no child data) are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting.
  • Stripe and the app stores keep their own payment records under their own policies.
  • Encrypted database backups (point-in-time recovery) age out within 35 days.
  • A deletion receipt (date and status, no personal data) is kept as proof of completion.

Bought your plan in an app store?

Your app store subscription must be canceled in the store; we cannot cancel it for you.

  • App Store: iPhone or iPad Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Math on Cue.
  • Google Play: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Math on Cue.

Other options

Delete one child only. In the parent space, open a child’s profile and choose Delete this profile. That removes that child’s practice history and leaves the rest of the family as it is.

Can’t sign in? Email support@mathoncue.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm the request comes from that address first. To be completed Confirm the support inbox before publishing.
